Lakeville Area Schools is proud to announce that Hilary Moorlach has been named a semifinalist for the 2026 Minnesota Teacher of the Year award! Moorlach is among 30 semifinalists from across the state. From this group of 30, approximately 10 finalists will be named in mid-late March.

Alexandra Raines, a 10th grader at Lakeville North High School, has been selected by the Dakota Electric Association as one of five local high school students to participate in the 2026 Electric Cooperative Youth Tour.

According to the Minnesota Department of Education's (MDE) data released this week, 93.1% of Lakeville Area Schools students graduated in four years in 2025. This is an increase of 1.5% from last year, and is 8.2% points higher than the Minnesota state average.
